Did you know that parts of Jurassic Park were actually filmed at Los Tres Ojos?
Some scenes from the Jurassic Park saga were filmed at Los Tres Ojos, specifically around the lagoon known as “Los Zaramagullones”, turning this hidden corner of Santo Domingo into a real-life movie set that many fans instantly recognize.
Despite its name, The Three Eyes hides a fourth lake that many visitors do not notice at first. The three “eyes” are the semi-underground lagoons you see as you walk down into the cave system, each with its own depth, color and temperature. They are connected by narrow rock passages and natural formations that give the place its mystical atmosphere.
The fourth lagoon is located a bit farther inside the cave and is only visible from a special viewpoint or small boat crossing, which is why it is not counted as one of the original “three eyes”.
